
Allow people to express themselves. Don’t otherise people and criminalise them the way Tony Blair did just because you don’t understand where they are coming from. Thank you.
Far too many people in Portsmouth have far too little to do. There is gorgeous graffiti all over the place. It’s one of the things that bring a little hope and sunshine into communities that so badly need it.
Yes, some of the graffiti around town is even quite inspiring.
But some of it – perhaps a little more right now – expresses despair and frustration. It’s better for people to release that into graffiti than into mischief and physical aggression, isn’t it? Read the various messages all over town and think about what they are telling you?
