Look at this woman’s eyes.
Then look at this woman’s eyes.
Both women are genuinely afraid and desperate.
Their loved ones have been taken hostage, you see. They’re terrified.
You have no idea what is happening in the lives of the strangers you meet in the street or in a shop or restaurant. So withhold your judgement.
(I’m sure that this is what I often must have looked like in the years since 2010. Deathly afraid because of what was going on in my life.)
