The age of the internet and mobile phones has not only given us many positive opportunities, it has also brought us the new phenomenon of gang-stalking. This is when a bunch of often callous and unemotional individuals gang up on usually a newcomer in their town, village or neighborhood and turn that person’s life into a living hell.
For obvious reasons, victims of this phenomenon tend to sound crazy.
There has not been much scientific research into it yet. That is understandable.
It’s basically the modern-day version of community bullying. Fewer bricks are thrown through victims’ windows, but instead their postal mail gets redirected, their e-mail may get grabbed, their phones get hacked, payments get messed with and various strangers who text each other the location of the victim go around yelling abuse at the victim and so on.
