You won’t find me on many social media – where I mostly have been playing the idiot clown, as I haven’t had much to do for far too many years now. I have literally spent time pacing in my rooms and sleeping during the day. I started climbing the walls with boredom shortly after I relocated from Southampton to Portsmouth. I eventually began picking litter and stuff like that just to have something to do with my time and still make myself useful in some way.

You won’t find me on LinkedIn. I started an account in 2007, I think, and my connections were almost exclusively people who I had actually worked with. It got hacked to pieces, probably from within my own equipment. One of my oldest connections, who must have seemed random because he was based on the other side of the world and the name “ARCADIS” did not show prominently on his profile, suddenly disappeared. One day, I noticed that he was a new connection with a different photo. That’s when I should have shut down my LinkedIn account. I didn’t.

It took me a long time to accept that what was happening to me, in my life, really was happening, that it was destructive and that I was powerless to do anything about it. It all seemed too bonkers to be true. However, the true extent did not start to become clear to me until 2015, 2016. That said, I did ask plenty of people and organizations for help with this and I already filed the first related police report in October 2008.

There definitely is some neurodiversity involved in all of this and that is how I eventually ended up exploring bioethics-related topics. There also was a shitload of hacking and lock-picking including interference from people called Eden Stroet aka Mrs Skelli and what not.

I apologize to all the people who got pestered within the context of this nonsense. That includes Willem de Lange who knew me because he was on the board of the Environmental Chemistry (and Toxicology) Section of KNCV when I was too. It also includes my youngest sister whose business got targeted with fake negative Google reviews.

The only people who I am still angry with within this context are Robert Gerald Van Cortlandt Vernon-Jackson and Suzanne J.M.H. Hulscher. 

• The first one is a bigoted career politician with more power than is good for him. (Duh. What else is new?)

• The second one, well, what happened to her in Canada was just as bizarre and unbelievable and devastating as what happened to me in Portsmouth. If there hadn’t been that ONE person who stood up for her, selflessly, nobody might ever have heard from her ever again and she likely wouldn’t have been able to complete her PhD. In 2016, I told her about what was happening in my life – admittedly very briefly but IRL. Her response was awful. She said that if she were somewhere where things weren’t going her way, where she didn’t like it, she’d simply leave. (Nah, nobody’s ever helped HER get out of a crappy situation, eh?) Her response has remained similarly dimwitted or dismissive.

I can’t forgive these two, but they aren’t worth remembering for much longer.
