Turns out that the hacker’s apparently closed my Kobo account. That’s why I am not getting the password reset mail. I still have the earlier activation mail so I am most certainly not confused.
There were times in the past when the hacker pestered me with “do you want to close the account?” I had no clue what he was going on about.
Does it mean “do you want me to piss off?”?
(I always have a be careful with how I phrase things, because he’s likely to read “I want him” when I write “I want him to piss off”. Exhausting. He used to see some innocent tweets as me asking him to get back into my computer, too.)

I’ve contacted Kobo again.
O man wat baalde ik toen het ge-etterbak weer begon. Ik stond te popelen om weer aan de slag te gaan. Ik klom in Hatesville echt tegen de muren op, man. Godsamme, wat een venijnig sadistisch rotgat van een stad was dat. Bijna iedereen haat daar bijna iedereen. Guerrilla oorlogsfeer. Kotsmisselijk word je ervan, al die haat en nijd daar. En dat is al zo zonder al dit gekloot.
(I seem to have broken out in hives, apparently. Starting to go down my back. Fifteen years of being sabotaged and terrorized and isolated and gaslighted is taking its toll. It’s no big deal in itself but this is how you can end up with autoimmune diseases like arthritis.)
