This morning’s news reports that approximately 40,000 Brazilian nationals are estimated to be illegal migrants in the Netherlands. Eastern Europeans are becoming rarer as the economic situation in their home countries are improving. This also fits with 2022 projections that Poland’s and Slovenia’s standard of living would overtake the UK’s (average income and income equality, according to an article in the Financial Times).
Amsterdam probably contains around 35,000 of these Brazilians.
