Translations

Translation as a profession has almost died, now that AI is providing us with brilliant gems such as overnight sunshine. That is making it more fun to list a few actual translations that I carried out in the past.

I wrote a section about tidal rivers and translated the existing math parts into English, which I incorporated. I also co-taught the accompanying 2D-modelling lab in SOBEK.

This required a great deal of research and adaptation (rewriting). Ironically, while I was literally reading and annotating a report about the forensics practice in the Netherlands, I was attacked.

I asked to be listed under my business name “SmarterScience”.
